Via the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development

The Public Procurement and Business Development Office (GC & BD) is working to create an environment for the maximum participation of small, disadvantaged and women-run companies in federal government procurement and major major subcontracting. GC works on behalf of small companies in the federal procurement world. Every year our government spends billions of dollars on goods and services bought by private companies. In order to promote a fair federal procurement policy, government-wide targets for small businesses are set for federal agencies in the form of a percentage of annual expenditure.
