Ranveer Singh, as we all know, is the king of quirky fashion. With his dazzling fashion choices, the actor often wears his dynamic personality on his sleeves, quite literally. From a riot of colors to glittery sequins and psychedelic prints, the details of his outfits are as varied as his acting skills. And we’ve seen a lot of that over the past few weeks as he promotes his film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Do we complain? Definitely not!
Ranveer really gave a Jordaar performance in the film, which hit theaters on Friday May 13th. But before he captured audiences’ hearts with the film and his role in it, he managed to steal ours with the array of eccentric outfits he wore for the promotions. From high-end international labels like Gucci and Valentino to homegrown brands like Doh Tak Keh and Roch Studio, Ranveer Singh’s recent fashion spree has been a fantastic mix. Eka Lakhani styled it during the promotions.
On this week’s Fashion Friday, we take a look at some of the most whimsical looks Ranveer Singh wore during Jayeshbhai Jordaar’s promotions.
THE PEPPY PANTSSUIT
Ranveer Singh kicked off the promotions on a lively note when he showed up in a peppy pantsuit from the film’s trailer launch. The three-piece multicolor ensemble by the Doh Tak Keh label was peppered with unusual prints. A pair of pink shoes, yes, you read that right, complemented his outfit perfectly.
COLORFUL CROCHET PANTS
Ranveer almost turned into cassata ice cream during Jayeshbhai’s promotions. Don’t you believe us? Well, he said it himself! The actor slipped into colorful crochet trousers by Roch Studio, which are reminiscent of the popular ice cream label, and wore a floral shirt with it.
“Cassata,” he wrote in the caption as he shared pictures of himself in the quirky attire on Instagram.
The lavender fashion is real! But not only among women, also among men. Ranveer Singh has also made the season’s favorite color his own, but of course with a pinch of typical individuality.
You can obviously count on Ranveer Singh to pull through anything and everything. Even if it means turning all yellow! He looked supremely charming in a yellow Huemn pantsuit. Even Deepika Padukone loved the look and left an endearing comment for her hubby. “Yellow yellow you are my mate,” she wrote.
PRINT ON PRINT
Who said wearing print after print is a fashion blunder? You just need the confidence of Ranveer Singh to master it. The actor nailed the whimsical fashion game when he wore a baggy shirt with intricate floral motifs and trousers with hypnotic print details.
